prepareBufferPos

int prepareBufferPos(int nrofChars)

Ensures that on the destination addBufferPos(char) is applicable. This operation can be empty on a simple appendable. It should be fullfilled if a given position is used.

Parameters:

nrofChars - planned number of characters to add at position.

Returns:

position in buffer where to write

addBufferPos

void addBufferPos(char cc)
           throws java.io.IOException
